How to install the No-break UPSUpdated 2 months ago
This practical device was created to supply constant power to your devices, keeping you connected in case of power outages, and protecting you against power supply anomalies, such as voltage spikes, voltage variations, signal noise, etc. that can alter the operation of your home appliances, as well as your care devices.
Now, it's time to plug in your No-Break UPS.
Insert the 2-pin connector on the power cord (included) into the UPS, and insert the plug of the same cord into a matching 110 240V AC wall outlet.
Step 2. Turn on the wall outlet. The multi-LED status indicators will flash during charging and increase in 25% increments. When the battery is fully charged, the multi-LED status indicators will stop flashing and Battery Full will be displayed.
Be sure to install the UPS in an enclosed location, where it is protected from possible water or extreme humidity.
Step 3. When connecting any devices to the UPS, first make sure that the power of the devices connected to all ports does not exceed the default output power, which is as follows:
24V for POE outputs
5V for USB output
9V and 12V for power outputs
Confirm that the corresponding port is correct, and then connect it to the device.
You have the flexibility to connect a variety of devices to it, including your essential WiFi router + gateway which we always recommend having backed up and any camera or other similar electrical devices. This way, you are assured of constant connection: this No-break will keep your router connected at all times, even in cases of power outages.
The UPS is powered by a built-in lithium-ion battery to combine efficiency with reliability. Battery life is up to 5 years.
Please note
-The overload protection circuitry will shut down the corresponding port if the device attempts to draw too much power. When the total power setting is exceeded, the LED status indicators will flash simultaneously and all output ports will turn off. To troubleshoot the problem, remove the device that is generating the overload and turn off the UPS.
- Press the power button for 2-3 seconds to restart the UPS.
- The UPS will attempt to restart every 5 seconds and will continue to operate normally once the load is within the allowable overload protection range.
That's all there is to it! We hope you get the most out of this no-break, which will allow you to keep your security cameras transmitting, always, even in cases of power outages or brownouts, for the protection of your home or business.
