What kind of roles are there and how do I configure them in the App?Updated 3 months ago
In the Care App, you can easily assign and remove roles for each of the properties you manage.
To do this, go to Property details, and then click on Members:
Once you are on that screen you will be able to see all the members and manage their functions, assigning them the role of your choice (the roles are explained below).
Now, these are the roles in the cuid app:
Owner
As a subscriber and main user, you are automatically the Owner, so you have access to ALL functions, including managing the roles of other people with access to the app.
As Owner, you can assign different roles to members of your family or business:
Manager
The Manager is the person with the most permissions and access after you, accessing permissions to enable and disable alarms and smart doorbells to manage property entrances, view live cameras, check event history, create emergency settings, etc. However, the Manager can neither delete a property, nor adjust the subscription to take care of it.
In short, choose the person you trust the most as Manager in order to share the administration and monitoring of the property of your choice.
User
Users (in the prototypical case, your children) will have access to only a few functions, such as viewing property members, changing security modes (home, when they are at home, away, when they leave), activating an emergency and tracking its status live, viewing exterior cameras (not interior), modifying notifications, opening the property and, with special permission, managing smart locks.
Emergency contact
The emergency contact is the neighbor in your neighborhood or family member who will receive emergency notifications and can then follow them live, to be your trusted ally in case of an emergency.
